Lucy's Championship

Lucy is a Rhodesian Ridegabck puppy we aquired from the Shabani Kennel.  The breeder, Bonnie Johnson, is an accomlished breeder. Recently, Lucy's sire Major - Ch Shabani's Sargent Major SC, who won the 2017 New England Rhodesian Ridgeback Specility on Cape Cod, MA . Lucy has been growing by leaps and bounds over the past couple of months.  She loves playing both Desmond, Daisy and her new brother Zephyr.

Lucy recently became an AKC Grand Champion before she was two years old. Lucy has won Reseved Best in Show at a IABCA event in Mar. 2018.    But most recently, Lucy won BEST IN SHOW at a UKC event in Apr. 2019.

We are hoping to get Lucy more invoved with Performance Events like Lure Coursing, Tracking, and Agility.  Lucy already has her first leg for Barn Hunting.

Pedigree

Please find below a link to Lucy's pedigree. It will show his bloodlines. Lucy is from the Shabani RR line. The Shabani line has produced a long line of champions both in conformace and lure coursing. Lucy's Sire, Major, won the New England Ridgeback Specility on Cape Code. Also, the Shabani had both Winner Dog and Winner Bitch at the 2018 Westminster Dog show for Rhodesian Ridgebacks

Prodigy

Lucy has not puppies at this point and time.  She is still too young.  We expecting to breed her once she reaches two years old.  We will update this link once she has puppies

Health

Lucy has started her health testing. The hips and elbow prelimiary testing has been done. It will be completed when she is two years old. We will update the site as more testing becomes available.

Puppies

We are planning on a breeding of Desmond to Lucy. We are hoping we will have puppies available in late summer / early fall. If you are interested in puppies, please send the puppy application using this email link.
