Welcome to Koenigplatz Kennels. We are located in Greensboro, NC. We show and occasionally breed Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Lhasa Apso. We recently loss Desmond, GCh Juba Lee Desmond King of Diamonds SC CGC. We still have a Ridegback bitch named Lucy. She is only almost 7 years months old. Finally, we co-own one of Lucy's puppies, Cali. She is a beautiful girl. We are hoping to have some puppies from her in the coming months.
We also have several Lhasa Apso Our first Lhasa Apso was named Landry. Ava fell in love with the breed. Landry passed away about two years ago. We got Landry just after we moved to North Carolina. Landry waas the joy of my wife's life. He was wonderful temperment for a Lhasa Apso. As a matter of fact, Landry was a Therapy Dog. Ava keep seeing that Lhasa Apso breed was declining at several dog show. Therefore, we got into breeding Lhasa Apso because of Landry and got our foundation bitch, Saana, from Finland. It only took us three years to find her.
Finally, my wife grew up with collies. She was raised by a tri-color collie named Fox. So about a year ago, my wife got her rough collie, Daisy. Daisy is a Blue Merle Collie and thinks she is Ms. America. She is working to be a Therapy Dog so she can pose in hospitals and nursing facilities in the area.
